General Description
All of our ethically sourced products are genuine specimens, not reproductions. They are spread and mounted individually by ourselves. They are then are framed to a very high standard, using conservation quality mountboard, and museum type anti-reflective UV filtering glass, all in our home based workshop.
The glass is museum quality anti-reflective glass which offers exceptional clarity, and shows the true colours with very little reflection. The glass also cuts out 70% of UV light, therefore reducing potential fading in the long term.
Each specimen is titled, by engraving the Common name, Latin name, and Geographical distribution into the mountboard.

All of our products are genuine, ethically sourced specimens, not reproductions. Consequently there will be individual variations in size, shape, and condition of each specimen. We make every effort to ensure that each specimen is complete, in terms of legs/antennae etc, but this is not always possible.

The glass should be cleaned with clean water and a microfibre cloth.
Kept in non-damp conditions, and out of extreme sunlight, our products are designed to last in perfect condition for many decades.
